Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Sognelle LLC ("Sognelle," "we," "us," or "our"), a Nevada limited liability company, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.sognelle.com (the "Site"). We keep this simple because the Site itself is simple: it is a pre-launch page with a waitlist form.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit, together with the date and time of your signup and your browser's user-agent string (the short text your browser sends identifying its type and version).
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure generates standard server logs when you visit (such as IP address, pages requested, and timestamps), which we use only to operate and secure the Site.
What we do NOT collect. The Site does not currently use cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics. We do not collect payment information, physical addresses, or account credentials, because the Site offers no purchases or accounts.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- maintain the waitlist and contact you about Sognelle's launch and related product updates;
- operate, secure, debug, and improve the Site; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
3. How Information Is Stored and Secured
Waitlist data is stored on infrastructure provided by our United States-based hosting provider. Data is transmitted to the Site over HTTPS (encrypted in transit), and access to the stored waitlist is restricted by a private access key held by the founder. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the small scale and simple nature of the data we hold.
4. Sharing of Information
We share information only:
- with service providers that host the Site and store its data on our behalf (currently our hosting/infrastructure provider), solely to provide those services;
- with an email or marketing platform if we later adopt one to send waitlist updates (the list would be migrated for that purpose only);
- if required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sognelle or others; and
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of the business, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information until amended as described below.
5. Data Retention
We keep waitlist information until you ask to be removed, or until the waitlist is retired (for example, after launch), whichever comes first. Server logs are retained per our hosting provider's standard rotation.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can, at any time, ask us to:
- remove your email from the waitlist (opt out of all messages);
- tell you what information we hold about you; or
- correct or delete that information.
Just email hello@sognelle.com from the address in question, and we will honor the request promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory privacy rights; we will honor valid requests consistent with applicable law.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Do Not Track
Because the Site does not track visitors across websites or over time, it does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals; there is no tracking to disable.
9. International Visitors
The Site is operated from, and its data is stored in, the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the most recent version, and changes take effect when posted on this page. If we make material changes to how we use waitlist emails, we will notify the waitlist by email before the change applies.
